Basketball Recap: Harvey Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Edgewood came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Harvey, but Kam Leftwich wouldn't allow it. The Harvey Red Raiders strolled past the Edgewood Warriors with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 77-58 thanks in part to Leftwich, who went 9 for 12 on his way to 24 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

Harvey has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-13 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.5 points per game. As for Edgewood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harvey will welcome Chagrin Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chagrin Falls will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Harvey surely won't give up without a fight. As for Edgewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Conneaut at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Edgewood is facing Conneaut at the right time seeing as Conneaut is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
