Baseball Recap: Lee's Summit North Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Lee's Summit North and Lee's Summit West meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Broncos fell 9-5 to the Titans. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Wyatt Cole was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Kueser, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lee's Summit North's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Lee's Summit West, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

While Lee's Summit North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
