One reason for the win was Acadiana Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-11.
Bishop Noland Episcopal Day better focus on containing Yvette Olivier and Addison Boudreaux as the pair were huge in Acadiana Christian's win. Olivier had 21 assists and six digs, while Boudreaux had eight digs. Olivier is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 28 games she's played dating back to last season.
Acadiana Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive contests.
Acadiana Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-1-1. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
