Last Friday, everything came up roses for Bishop Lynch at home against Nolan Catholic as the squad secured a 66-39 win. Given Bishop Lynch's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Nolan Catholic is ranked 450th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Parish Episcopal lost to Prestonwood Christian on the road by a decisive 56-37 margin on Friday. Parish Episcopal was down 45-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Bishop Lynch has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season. As for Parish Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-14.
