Caldwell took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past South Haven 56-8. That result is just more of the same for Caldwell, who also won the last time these teams played.
Caldwell's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 38 points in the first half. Meanwhile, South Haven couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 38-0 heading into the break. The offense for Caldwell continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 18 points. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Caldwell are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Flinthills next week at 7:00 PM. South Haven will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Cedar Vale/Dexter at 7:00 PM.
