Milton had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They lost to Otter Valley by a decisive 6-24 margin. Milton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Otter Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Milton off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Otter Valley a 1-0 record.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Milton will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against North Country Union at 7:00 PM. Otter Valley are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Fair Haven next week at 7:00 PM.
