Northwest will be playing at home against Ramah at at 6:00 PM on Thursday. Northwest come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
It was all tied up at halftime, but Northwest weren't quite Pine Hill's equal in the second half when they met last Saturday. Northwest were dealt a punishing 0-44 loss at the hands of Pine Hill. Northwest's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it four losses in a row.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Ramah and Navajo Pine, but Ramah stepped up in the second half. Ramah put the hurt on Navajo Pine with a sharp 48-14 victory. Ramah were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Ramah's win lifted them to 2-5 while Northwest's loss dropped them down to 0-4. We'll find out if Ramah can add another positive mark to their record or if Northwest can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Ramah's step.
