The Breckenridge Huskies were the 56-36 winner over the Carson City-Crystal Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Breckenridge took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carson City-Crystal. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Breckenridge has scored all season.
Cole Smith had a dynamite game for Carson City-Crystal, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Klouse Andrews, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Breckenridge's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Carson City-Crystal, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Breckenridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Vestaburg at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Carson City-Crystal, they will head out on the road to face off against Montabella at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
