OAKDALE, Calif. -
Oakdale (Calif.) will rue a missed two-point conversation against
Enterprise (Redding, Calif.), as provided the difference in a 23-22 defeat.
The Mustangs pulled ahead on a
Brock Whiting touchdown run, and subsequently went into halftime leading 13-8. The Hornets took the lead for good with a passing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring eight points in the third, Enterprise still trailed by three points going into the fourth quarter. But seven points in the fourth helped EHS pull out the victory.
Oakdale (0-2) will play a non-conference game against Paraclete next week, while Enterprise (1-0) will take on West Valley also in a non-conference game.
