Bainbridge hasn't had much luck against Olympic recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 4:15 p.m. Bainbridge has given up an average of 19.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Bainbridge is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 27-0 to North Kitsap.
Bainbridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby George, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. That stolen base was George's first of the season.
Meanwhile, Olympic had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They blew past the Sentinels 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.
Jules Richmond made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Richmond was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

Olympic hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive contests.
Olympic pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bainbridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
