The Sacred Heart Academy Sharks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 70-20 victory over Charter School for Applied Tech at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Sacred Heart Academy has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sacred Heart Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Zablocki, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Zablocki also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Brooke Personius, who scored 14 points.
The win got Sacred Heart Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Charter School for Applied Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Sacred Heart Academy will take on Randolph in a holiday battle at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at. Randolph is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Charter School for Applied Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lockport at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
