The Radnor Raptors will head out on the road to square off against the Springfield Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Radnor will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Radnor made easy work of the Panthers and carried off a 64-39 victory. Given Radnor's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Panthers are ranked 561st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Springfield unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Constitution by a score of 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Springfield has suffered since December 21, 2023.
Radnor has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Springfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Radnor came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cougars in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 45-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Radnor since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
