Softball Recap: Carmel Makes It Four in a Row at Home

On Thursday Carmel's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Mamaroneck Tigers. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Carmel's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of four runs across that stretch. As for Mamaroneck, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Carmel will challenge Ketcham at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mamaroneck, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Yorktown at 9:45 a.m.
