Meanwhile, Manchester came tearing into Monday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past Enfield with a 66-60 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Derrick Sheets continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points. Another player making a difference was Jayveon Robinson, who scored no points along with 18 rebounds and four steals.
Edwin O. Smith's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Manchester, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
