The Horseshoe Bend Generals won the last time they faced the Reeltown Rebels, and things went their way on Friday too. Horseshoe Bend strolled past Reeltown with points to spare, taking the game 50-34.
Reeltown's loss came despite strong showings from London O'Neal and Chizyiah Riley. O'Neal dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, while Riley scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Horseshoe Bend's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Reeltown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Horseshoe Bend will take on Beulah at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beulah will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 415th, while Horseshoe Bend is ranked 174th). As for Reeltown, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against LaFayette at 5:30 p.m.
