 Despite the  defeat, Durango got a solid performance out of   Mariah Maestas, who  scored 18 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Vista PEAK Prep's loss  ended  an  eight-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 17-6. As for Durango, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last eight matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record  this season.
