The St. Joseph Regional Green Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They managed a 80-76 victory over Teaneck. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
St. Joseph Regional's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anthony Pacciarelli, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Evan Brown, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for St. Joseph Regional and bumps their season record up to 10-4. As for Teaneck, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.
St. Joseph Regional will head out on the road to challenge Don Bosco Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Don Bosco Prep is on a four-game streak of home wins, St. Joseph Regional a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Teaneck will take on Pascack Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pascack Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
