The biggest upset of the week belonged to Royal Valley, who took down 151st ranked Royal Valley, 36-22. Brandon Eddy ran for 145 yards and caught one passes for 46 yards in the win.
Holton extended the longest winning streak in Big Seven this week by beating Jefferson West, 48-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Jaxon Wright put up the best numbers through the air as Holton defeated the Tigers. He finished with a total of three completions for 53 yards and two touchdowns. Wright's favorite target this week was Tyler Burdiek, who caught two passes for 42 yards.
Rj Whitaker was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 21 carries, he ran for 165 yards as Perry-Lecompton bested the Panthers.
The Kaws' Seth Surface and Riley Davis have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Surface has thrown for 737 yards this season, while Davis, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 22 catches for 332 yards. Brooks Barta's team's Drake Ewing leads the league in rushing yards with 648.
Nemaha Valley and Sabetha played the most hotly contested game in Big Seven this week, with Nemaha Valley eventually emerging with a 13-9 victory.
