Northwest put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They never let the Crest Ridge Cougars get on the board and left with a 24-0 victory. That 24 run margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Northwest's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.7 runs over those games. As for Crest Ridge, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
