Los Alamitos. The shootout victory helped the Diablos finish the regular season 9-1 and a perfect 3-0 in the Southern Section's Alpha League.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound senior scored a short rushing touchdown early that gave Mission Viejo a 13-7 lead in the first quarter. He hit
K.J. Woodbury Jr. for a 37-yard strike and
Jack Junker from 20 yards out in the second quarter.
In a seesaw battle, Fahey went to Junker once more early in the third from 42 yards out and again late in the quarter from 81 yards to make it 49-48 Los Alamitos entering the fourth.
Mission Viejo scored 28 unanswered points in the fourth, capped by a 48-yard touchdown connection from Fahey to Woodbury to seal the scoring at 76-49.
Fahey's career night put him over 3,100 passing yards on the season with 25 TDs. He has 6,923 career passing yards with 68 touchdowns.
Junker finished with 10 receptions for 299 yards and three scores.
Mission Viejo, ranked No. 7 in California and 29th nationally entering this week, now awaits its Southern Section postseason seeding.
