After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North, Hidalgo Early College was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Donna Redskins as they made off with a 50-30 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Redskins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Hidalgo Early College's record now sits at 7-4. As for Donna, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Hidalgo Early College and Donna will both be playing Economedes the next time they take the court. The Redskins will host the Jaguars at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
