Paydon Rinkol Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Twin River got the W thanks in part to Paydon Rinkol playing the best football he has all season. Rinkol rushed for 289 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 18.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 146 or more in the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Madison, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Rinkol. Rinkol rushed for 257 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Dragons duked it out back in October of 2023.

Another Game with at Least Two Rushing Touchdowns from Cameron Hlavac
Cameron Hlavac produced his most outstanding game to date while leading David City to the win on Friday. Hlavac wasn't messing around, rushing for 78 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 181 yards and four touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. The match was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns.
Hlavac's next contest is against Clarkson/Leigh on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort. Hlavac will face off against Wyatt Crosley on Friday, the Patriots' star signal caller. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

Rodriguez Made His Presence Known in Twin River's 54-8 Win
Colsten Rodriguez posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns. Twin River is 3-1 when Rodriguez posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
On the season, Rodriguez has averaged 55.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.39 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 77.23 passer rating.

David City Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Reese Svoboda
David City picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Reese Svoboda. Svoboda turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, while also picking up 37 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Svoboda and David City will face off against Clarkson/Leigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Svoboda will face off against Wyatt Crosley, the Patriots' star quarterback. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Jeryn Struebing was instrumental in extending Clarkson/Leigh's winning streak to four on Friday. Newman Grove/St. Edward had no answer to Struebing as he rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Struebing got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 59 yards.
Clarkson/Leigh's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Struebing and Clarkson/Leigh will be playing in front of their home fans against David City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
