Jett Pitts made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Jaxson Cadwell was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Lincoln Fisher was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run.
Columbia Falls kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive games.
Noxon's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Columbia Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
