Lee Qualk Goes Supernova in California Victory
Starting off the list is California's Lee Qualk, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Qualk rushed for 233 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 149 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The win (which was California's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Qualk and California will challenge West Greene at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lane Allison Turns in Season-Best Performance
Lane Allison produced his most outstanding game to date while leading West Greene to the win on Friday. Allison threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 127 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
West Greene has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Allison and West Greene will square off against California at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ben Hays Delivers Electric Performance Vs West Greene
Bentworth was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Ben Hays did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Hays as he rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making nine total tackles and defending a pass.
Hays and Bentworth are taking a road trip to face off against Jefferson-Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Hays up against the Rockets' star wideout Deakyn Dehoet. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Jefferson-Morgan Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Houston Guesman
Houston Guesman was instrumental in extending Jefferson-Morgan's winning streak to seven on Friday. Guesman was dynamite, throwing for 229 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.
Bethlehem Center's probably not too fond of Guesman given he always seems to get the better of them. When Guesman last faced the Bulldogs back in September of 2023, he threw for 139 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards.

Niko Georgagis Makes It Two for California
The second California player making an appearance here is Niko Georgagis, and for good reason. He wasn't messing around on Friday, picking up two sacks and making 13 total tackles (5.0 for loss). The matchup was his seventh straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.
On the season, Georgagis has averaged 11.6 total tackles per game and for the season has 3 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 2.57 total tackles per game.
