North Chicago (Ill.) 61-38 while riding the arm of
Andrew Nickell, who tossed four touchdown passes.
After taking the lead on an Nickell touchdown pass to
Javon Charleston in the second quarter, the Blue Devils led 34-20 at the half.
Warren grew its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. WHS scored once in the quarter on a defensive touchdown.
Warren's standout player in the win was Nickell. He threw four touchdowns.
The Warhawks came in giving up 11.2 points per game this season. North Chicago had a hard time against Warren's offense, who entered the game scoring zero points per game.
The victory was a step in the right direction for Warren, which was coming off a 21-7 defeat at the hands of Stevenson in its previous game. The loss was the third in a row for NC.
