Tyler Fridley and Jacquari Chandler provided fans with a highlight when they connected against New Albany. The connection was good for 99 yards, the longest such play in Hoosier Hills this season.
Columbus East extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Madison, 54-8. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Olympians.
Jeffersonville's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Fridley threw for 291 and three touchdowns and Chandler had 163 yards receiving. On the ground Austin Hines chipped in 121 yards. Dionte Allen helped Jeffersonville's passing attack out by catching four balls for 85 yards.
Jeffersonville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Fridley has thrown for 2013 yards and 26 touchdowns this season, while Ricky Embry has 33 catches for 637 yards. Hines leads the league in rushing with 802 yards.
The top two teams in Hoosier Hills will face off this week when first place Columbus East takes on second place Jeffersonville. Columbus East topped the Cubs last week, while the Red Devils defeated the Bulldogs.

The Olympians suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 54-8 loss to the Olympians. Columbus East had been ranked 23rd, but fell to 27 following the defeat.
