With a playoff game on the line, the Brewbaker Tech Rams rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Hornets 50-19 at home. The win was nothing new for Brewbaker Tech as they're now sitting on five straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brewbaker Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jillian Baine, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Baine is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Erin Martin, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Brewbaker Tech is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-14 record this season. As for Beauregard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11.
Brewbaker Tech will take on Central of Clay County at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Alabama (Brewbaker Tech is ranked 93rd, while Central of Clay County is ranked 115th). Beauregard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
