The GEO Next Generation Eagles lost against the Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. GEO Next Generation took a 43-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Purdue Broad Ripple. GEO Next Generation has not had much luck with Purdue Broad Ripple recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, GEO Next Generation still got an impressive performance from Antonio Wilson Jr., who scored 11 points. Wilson Jr. scored a full 31.4% of GEO Next Generation's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Marks, who scored six points.
GEO Next Generation has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Purdue Broad Ripple, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7.
GEO Next Generation will face off against Elwood at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Elwood is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. Purdue Broad Ripple won't have much time to rest: their next game is against MTI School of Knowledge at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (MTI School of Knowledge is ranked 414th, while Purdue Broad Ripple is ranked 412th).
