Crane Medical's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brad Blackman, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Dontea King, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and six steals.
Crane Medical's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7. As for Chicago Marshall, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
