Quakertown is a perfect 10-0 against Wissahickon since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Trojans at 3:45 p.m. Quakertown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
Quakertown had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Harry S. Truman on Wednesday. The Panthers never let the Tigers get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their two-run performance the game before.

The team relied heavily on Ellie Hilton, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Ava Eatherton was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Quakertown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Wissahickon can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Abington.
Sydney Darnell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Darnell was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Julia Lentz was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Dani Marra also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Quakertown pushed their record up to 2-3 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Wissahickon, their record is now 3-5.
Quakertown was able to grind out a solid win over Wissahickon in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
