The Greenville Christian Academy Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenville Christian Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Bethel Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
Last Monday, Greenville Christian Academy made easy work of New Life Christian Academy and carried off a 15-5 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Carter Letchworth made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Letchworth was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three).
In other batting news, Eli Suggs was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Williams, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
Greenville Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Bethel Christian Academy entered their tilt with DASH on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the United.
Like Greenville Christian Academy, Bethel Christian Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Brayden Cash. He tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Cash has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. He is becoming a predictor of Bethel Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jamey Williams, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Bethel Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Greenville Christian Academy, their record is now 6-2.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Greenville Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .470. However, it's not like Bethel Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .494. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Greenville Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against Bethel Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 7-2. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
