The Lakeside Knights took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They secured a 53-48 W over Tescott. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lakeside also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Lakeside was led to victory by Reece Remus and Jorden Schoen. Remus dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Schoen scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden McCoy, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
Lakeside's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Tescott, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Lakeside will look to defend their home court on Friday against Thunder Ridge. As for Tescott, they will square off against Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
