Charlotte Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Friday. They blew past the Page Pirates 30-9. The Knights pushed the score to  30-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pirates cut but never quite recovered from.

 Jamal Rule had a dynamite game, rushing for 166 yards and three  TDs, while also picking up 85 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 131  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 Charlotte Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Jack Gullickson and  Luke Zhemke.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charlotte Christian will host Charlotte Catholic  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Page, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season  when they go up against Northwest Guilford  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
