The Lauralton Hall Crusaders suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2023 on Monday. They were the victim of a rough 54-33 loss at the hands of Mercy. Lauralton Hall was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-11.
Loss or not, Lauralton Hall got some senior leadership from Lauren Marsden and Maura Bosse. Marsden scored 14 points, while Bosse. scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Bosse has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Amyah Kelly, who scored four points.
Lauralton Hall has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Mercy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
Lauralton Hall will head out on the road to face off against Hillhouse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mercy, they will be playing at home against Career Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
