Scotty Bailey and Cole Wilson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Lincoln County. The longest such play in 5A District 8 this season, the connection resulted in 52 yards.
Harlan County extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Patriots, 44-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Harlan County's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Bailey threw for 144 and 2 touchdowns and Wilson had 82 yards receiving. On the ground Fred Massey contributed 220 yards. Zach Chitwood helped Harlan County's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 20 yards.

Perry County Central's Nathan Pray and John Toomer have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Pray has thrown for 914 yards this season, while Toomer has 41 catches for 445 yards. The Black Bears' Carson Whitehead leads the league in rushing yards with 1,158.
Letcher County Central fell to Madison Southern 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
