Quantico were successful in their last outing against Richmond Christian, and they didn't afford Richmond Christian any payback this time around. Quantico narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Richmond Christian 14-12. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
The victory bumped Quantico's record up to 1-3. Richmond Christian are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Quantico will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Massanutten Military Academy in two weeks at 6:00 PM. Both of those teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. Richmond Christian will stay at home against Rappahannock County at 6:00 PM.
