North Woods won the last time they faced Cook County and things went their way on Friday too. The North Woods grizzlies strolled past the Cook County Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 82-67. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the grizzlies.

When it comes to explaining why Cook County lost, don't look at Rohan Rude. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Denali Blackwell, who posted 12 points and six rebounds.

North Woods' win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Cook County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

North Woods will venture away from home to take on Nashwauk-Keewatin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Cook County and International Falls will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
