The Olympian Eagles put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against University City by a score of 66-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Olympian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sammell Humphries out in front who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jordan Walker, who scored 19 points.
Olympian's victory was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-0. As for University City, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olympian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eastlake at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for University City, they will head out on the road to challenge Coronado at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Coronado has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 314 points over their last five matches.
