Nantucket was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sandwich Blue Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  back in September.
 The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 14-25,  25-18.
Nantucket's offense was headlined by  Quinn Canty and  Viktoria Bozhkova (C), who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from  Emanuelly Coelho and her 14 assists.  Julie Pires (C) controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
 Sandwich was led to victory by  Nora Katzenback and  Dailynne Buckhoff.  Katzenback  had 20 assists and two  aces, while  Buckhoff  had five  aces. Those  five  aces gave  Buckhoff a new career-high.
Nantucket's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Sandwich, their victory  ended  a  three-match drought at home  and  bumped them up to 9-11.
As of now, neither Nantucket nor the Blue Knights have any future games scheduled.
