Pontotoc came out on top against West Point on Tuesday thanks in part to Star Williams's efforts. Williams produced her best game of the campaign: she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over seven innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

Williams' strong effort led Pontotoc over West Point and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 10:13 a.m. on Thursday.
