Tuscola has gone 8-2 against Sullivan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Redskins at 4:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tuscola comes in on four and Sullivan on three.
Tuscola's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Shelbyville with a sharp 7-0 win. The Warriors not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 13-5).

Kinzie Cleland was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ava Boyer, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Alaina Smith was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sullivan). They blew past Okaw Valley 21-1 on Thursday. Considering the Redskins have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Like Tuscola, Sullivan also got a great game from a two-way player: Natalie Stinson. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave Stinson a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Taylar Mercer and Karson Robinson did most of the damage at the plate: Mercer got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Robinson went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases Mercer has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kylee Freese, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Tuscola's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sullivan, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.
Tuscola skirted past Sullivan 10-8 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Redskins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
