They rang in the new year with a 50-37 victory over Niobrara County. That's another feather in the cap for Tongue River, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tongue River's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Niobrara County, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
Tongue River's road trip will continue as they head out to face Burns at 11:30 a.m. on January 6th. Burns is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. Niobrara County won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Sundance at 11:30 a.m. on January 6th. Hopefully Sundance focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
