Johnson had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Clark on Thursday. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 9-2 win. Considering the Jaguars have won 11 games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Johnson pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Clark, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Johnson nor Clark have any future games scheduled.
