On Friday, the Wrangell Wolves beat the Ketchikan Kings 2-0.
 Wrangell easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15,  25-17.
  Christina Johnson was the offensive standout of the  contest as she  had three  aces.
 Wrangell's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Ketchikan, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9-3.
 Wrangell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  2-0  defeat against West Anchorage on the 4th. As for Ketchikan, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Juneau-Douglas  at 7:00  p.m.
