Elkhorn came into Friday's   contest looking for another win against Plattsmouth, but  Levi Walker wouldn't allow it. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Antlers by a score of  28-19  on Friday for which the team can thank  Walker, who rushed for 249 yards and two  TDs while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. He is  on a roll when it comes to  rushing touchdowns, as he's  now  punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Another player making a difference was  Bradin Vanwinkle, who rushed for 44 yards and one  touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making one tackle and defending one pass in addition to snagging  an  interception.
 Elkhorn lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Wyatt Worlie, who rushed for 176 yards and one  score. Elkhorn also got help from  Matthew Ott, who showed off his sure hands for 91  receiving yards.
Plattsmouth's record is now 2-0. As for Elkhorn, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plattsmouth is packing up and heading out  for their first away game of the season: they will  square off against  Skutt Catholic  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Elkhorn, they will face off against Gretna East at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 822 yards in their previous games.
