Wabash was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight  loss  dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Peru Tigers 79-35. The Apaches were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  44-16.

 Peru got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Gavin Eldridge out in front who  dropped  a double-double with ten points and 15  assists. The dominant performance gave  Eldridge a new career-high in  assists. Another player making a difference was  Zion See, who  went 7-for-12  to rack up 18  points.
Wabash's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Peru, their win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 10-12.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Wabash will challenge Lewis Cass at 8:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Wabash has given up an average of 55.2 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Peru, they will square off against Twin Lakes at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Peru is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4  points per game  this season.
