After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norte Vista, the Bethel Christian Kings were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They managed a 60-56 victory over Redlands Adventist Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Bethel Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josh Coba, who scored 15 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds. The matchup was Coba's third in a row with at least ten points. Jordyn Frazier-Mathews was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
Bethel Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Bethel Christian will be playing at home against The Grove School at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Redlands Adventist Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Escondido Adventist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th.
