The Fallbrook Warriors's four-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They came out on top against San Pasqual by a score of 51-39. The victory was just what Fallbrook needed coming off of a 81-24 loss in their prior game.
Fallbrook's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malaki Brotherton, who scored 11 points. Christian Myers was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Despite the loss, San Pasqual still got an impressive performance from Jonathan Lopez, who scored nine points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Kohlmeier, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Fallbrook's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for San Pasqual, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fallbrook will take on Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Pasqual, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Mt. Carmel is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 62.4 points per game.
