Given Bryan Station's advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while Garrard County is ranked 173rd), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bryan Station got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Taeshawn Adams out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Adams is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Daeveon Adams was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
The victory was the third in a row for Bryan Station, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40 points. As for Garrard County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryan Station won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Madison Central at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Garrard County, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitley County at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
