Miller County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Keown, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Javiah Powell, who scored 18 points.
Randolph-Clay's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaleen Gibson led the charge by scoring 19 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Gibson is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Nyquavious White was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two blocks.
Miller County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Randolph-Clay, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
